Reporting a problem with a school's information

If something on a school's page looks wrong or out of date, tell us and we will check it. It helps if you include:

• the school's name and its URN, the six or seven digit number shown on its page
• what is wrong and what it should say
• a link to the official source, if you have one

Our information comes from the Department for Education and Ofsted, so if the official record itself is wrong, the lasting fix happens there; schools can update their own details on the government's Get Information About Schools register. We can apply a correction on OfferDay while the official record catches up. Our data guide explains where every figure comes from.

What we cannot help with

We are not part of the government and we play no role in school admissions. We cannot submit or change an application, tell you whether your child will get a place, or handle an appeal. Applications go through your local council, and our admissions dates and appeals guides explain how the process works.
